The Sliders are 66mm slide wheels that focus on grip, feedback and a high-quality, long-lasting slide experience. These wheels epitomize what is important in smaller wheels. Typically, wheels in the 65mm range have a somewhat harsh ride due to the shallow urethane depth, which is a result of using some of the standard freeride cores available from most longboard wheel manufacturers.

This design focused on feedback and durability by developing a proprietary core. The core features peaks and valleys that you may be familiar with from much larger downhill wheel cores. They help the urethane to stay on the hub and ensure even wear across the entire contact patch. However, the core is designed to be just over 35mm in diameter, so you can play with a lot of urethane and get more performance for your money. With the sliders, that's a whopping 15.4 mm of urethane depth.
That's a good portion of rubber. This pays off in terms of durability, and the wheels feel super soft underfoot.

Due to the manufacturing process, there is no mold release on these wheels, so you don't have to wash them with soap to get them to feel right. The 74a are pretty grippy out of the box and even suitable for a surf skate deck, while the 78a are a touch easier to slide. And thanks to the wider contact patch than many other wheels of a similar size, they offer a good level of mechanical grip. The result is comfortable sliding on the tarmac with decent braking power.
They are built to slow you down when you need to reduce speed and keep you reliably on the tarmac when you need it.
