WIND RANGE AND RIDER LEVEL

The light bar feel and smooth but responsive handling are tuned for the medium riding level and beyond, especially in light to medium winds.

CONTINUOUS CURVE LEADING EDGE & TRANSVERSAL SAIL SHAPING

The Continuous Curve Leading Edge design means that each segment is curved to form a perfectly smooth arc from tip-to-tip, rather than straight segments of material joined together with angled joints to form a curve.

The transverse sail shaping on the canopy, which runs along the leading edge, perfectly matches the continuous curve. As with OZONE's latest products, these design features reduce parasitic drag and provide a cleaner surface at the most important point of the profile.

The result is less turbulent airflow, which has a positive effect on the lift to drag ratio and increases overall performance.

WAVE AND KITEFOIL DREAM

The Alpha V3 Ultra-X offers kitefoilers and wave riders not only the opportunity to ride hard in marginal conditions, but also with a relaxed riding style.

Concentrate on the turns and carving maneuvers you really want to do. ON A TWIN TIP

The responsive steering with positive bar feedback creates a responsive combination of lift and hangtime. The Alpha V3 Ultra-X is a fast to ride freeride kite that doesn't feel like it has a lot of pull on the front lines, helping intermediates gain confidence as they learn to steer a kite harder and faster.

Whether you want to expand your repertoire of transitions, dark slides, rotations, one-foters or through countless soft kiteloops and downloops, the Alpha Ultra-X offers a very balanced pull that feels predictable and smooth and makes progression easy.

WHAT ABOUT STRONG WINDS?

The Alpha V3 Ultra-X is not only suitable for light winds. The smaller sizes are also great fun in stronger conditions, offering fast steering, huge depower and easy drifting.

However, if you like to regularly ride at the top end of a kite's performance spectrum, then we recommend one of the freeride kites instead, which have more struts to support the canopy in stronger wind conditions.

VARIABLE BRIDLE GEOMETRY

Quick and easy to change without having to add or remove extra lines.

These bridle settings extend the kite's range of use and bring another level of versatility to this outstanding design.

FREERIDE

The ideal balance of performance and feel for all-round freeriding, foiling and surfing in most conditions. The freeride setting is the top knot on the VBG pigtails (factory setting).

FREESTYLE/ ONSHORE

The kite sits a little further back in the wind window, with increased bar pressure and feedback. If you prefer a slightly heavier bar feel, this could be the right setting for you. It is also suitable for onshore wave conditions. The freestyle/onshore setting is the bottom knot on the VBG Pigtails.

Die Produktion ist daher immer sehr eng an die aktuelle Nachfrage angelehnt. Seltene Modelle, wir die Hochleister R1 werden ausschließlich im Kundenauftrag produziert. Die Lieferzeit für Ozone Kites, die nicht in Deutschland (bei uns oder Ozone) auf Lager sind, liegt unter normalen Bedingungen bei rund 4-5 Wochen. Bitte bestelle also rechtzeitig!
