Slide decks

Sliding is mainly used to elegantly control your speed. With Downhill you can turn the board crossways before a bend to reduce speed and, in principle, you can stop the longboard relatively quickly with an elegant slide when riding fast. If you have mastered braking via slides, you can certainly travel faster on a longboard and need not be afraid of steeper downhill sections.
