Goodboards - handmade from Ammersee
goodboards is an independent German board company based at Ammersee near Munich. Owners and employees of goodboards are all enthusiastic board sportsmen themselves in the snow and on the water.
goodboards develops flexible wakeboards with wooden core, based on 25 years of snowboarding experience.
goodboards produces exclusively in Europe handmade, limited small series of extraordinary quality.
The team behind goodboards consists of passionate snowboarders who have been professionally active in this field for more than 25 years. Extensive experience, contacts and current customer requests led to the implementation of this knowledge in their own project in 2010 - goodboards! Only nine months after its foundation goodboards was awarded as a finalist of the "ISPO Brand New Awards 2011".
Grandiose landscape, fresh air, a breathtaking lake, fantastic alpine panorama and friendly people. This is the Ammersee in the Bavarian Fünfseenland. At goodboards, this positive energy brings the useful inspiration to implement the ideas that put a grin on your face on the board. Here, the finest products with aesthetic designs are designed and produced for us, our friends and fans of high-quality equipment. These are snowboards, skis, splitboards, skate longboards, wakeboards as well as fine t-shirts, hoodies and zip hoodies. The goodboards collection is perfectly tailored to young at heart, active athletes with the highest demands. The exclusively limited series are produced in elaborate handwork in the heart of Europe.
FOUNDER Josef Holub is the founder and the leading head of goodboards:
"In goodboards my experience combines with the ideas of long-time riders and competent dealers. When we founded goodboards, it was clear that the brand should be small and stylish, for snowboarders like ourselves. That is our credo. I'm an enthusiast who offers high-quality collections for active athletes in small series."
Josef has been snowboarding since 1989, has managed a snowboard association, studied foreign trade and has actively known the snowboard market for more than 20 years. Sales, marketing, team and product development are his areas of responsibility. Annually he travels countless kilometers between office, stores, manufactory and of course the mountains. Since he is present at practically every test event, he comes to more than 50 snow days per season. He is one of those snowboarders who loves to cut turns on the slopes, powder in the backcountry when there is fresh snow, or rediscover the mountains with a splitboard.
