Foil Drive x North Integrated UHM80 mast

For more glide and faster turns, the North Ultra High Modulus Carbon Foil Drive mast is 25 % thinner and has a 14 % shorter profile length than the AF80 FD mast. This virtually eliminates drag and significantly increases maneuverability, allowing you to accelerate onto the foil faster and plane more efficiently once you're up.

The UHM mast features a state-of-the-art monocoque design where the motor pod is seamlessly integrated into the mast 18 cm from the baseplate - the perfect balance for assist with a submerged propeller, but still high enough to avoid interference when you're on the foil. With a ride height of 80 cm, it is ideal for assisted prone surfing and downwind foiling with minimal battery consumption.

The mast is compatible with both the V2 standard motor and the HP motor. So if you already have a foil drive and your existing motor has the V2 connector on the back, you can get started straight away.

Note: The motor pod is fixed to each mast and cannot be removed or moved. The fully internal cabling is connected to the Foil Drive system.
