Foil Drive X North Integrated Sonar AF80 mast

The Sonar AF80 Foil Drive Integrated Mast has a foil drive motor pre-installed in one of three positions on the mast.

The Efoil Motor position offers a complete E-Foil experience with the motor close to the hull, while a 20cm and 15cm motor are positioned as Foil Assist with the motor closer to the board.

The integrated mast simplifies installation and significantly improves the riding experience and efficiency. As the motor wiring is completely internal, the motor is less noticeable, both when riding with and without the motor, so you can enjoy uninterrupted foiling plus the benefit of electric assist.

The North Sonar mast is a specially developed aluminum mast (AF) that offers an optimal ratio between low weight and increased strength for higher loads. The Sonar mast features a unique GeoLock locking system with tapered geometry. GeoLock is designed for strength and rigidity and provides a more effective load-bearing connection between the mast and hull, making them feel like a single piece. The screws engage with the GeoLock so that load transfer occurs across the entire cross-section of the mast profile, allowing for more efficient load distribution and a secure connection with a long service life.

Note: The motor is permanently installed on each pole and cannot be removed or replaced.
