BCA FLOAT 12 - Avalanche backpack

FLOAT 12™ WITH FLOAT 2.0 - BCA's compact, flat float backpack for freeride adventures with a heli, snowcat or skidoo.

Thanks to the height-adjustable hip belt, it is also suitable for people with a shorter upper body.

Material: Mini ripstop nylon with PU coating (main compartment), nylon with PU coating (in areas subject to particular wear and tear), polyester (inner lining), YKK zippers with DWR coating.

As soon as you press the release handle, 3,000 psi (207 bar) of compressed air is released, inflating the airbag in seconds.

Always double check that your air cylinder is filled and connected correctly before you plunge into the powder.

(The compressed air cylinder must be ordered separately. The cylinder is not included with the backpack).

The BCA Float avalanche airbag system is tested and proven to keep you on the surface of an avalanche during a descent. The BCA cylinder of the Float 2.0 system is only half the size of other compressed air systems and fits in the same compartment  as the airbag itself - this saves weight and creates space in the main compartment.
